I made this pasta for dinner Friday night. It was so good, and actually better the next day. Breanne I know I sent you some home, but can I have some back?
the basics
1/2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
3/4 tsp. ground black pepper
3/4 tsp. sugar
2 1/2 c. cooked pasta (i like the multi-colored pasta)
the veggies
3 c. fresh mushrooms
15 cherry tomatoes, halved
1 c. sliced red bell peppers
3/4 c. crumbled feta cheese
1/2 c. chopped green onions
1 - 4oz. can whole black olives (i used medium)
3/4 c. sliced pepperoni
** here is where you can add/delete what you like/don't like. I left out the mushrooms b/c I forgot them, used normal tomatoes instead of the cherry ones (b/c they were cheaper), was going to add yellow bell peppers for color but safeway didn't have any (what is up w/that?), used the tomato and basil feta cheese, added garlic stuffed green olives, and pepperochini's.
instructions
Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, garlic powder, basil, oregano, black pepper, and sugar in a large bowl. Add cooked pasta and veggies. Toss evenly until coated. Cover and chill 2 hours or overnight.
AH! DELICIOUS!

Well ... funny story... I actually wanted to invite you and the banda's over BUT we don't have a dining room table big enough... It's another long story about how no one is allowed to eat in the living room any more... so yeah, hence the search for the dining table!
Think of what object you'll sacrifice when you buy your table. Just say, "Mike, I'll get rid of this(something he hates of yours) if you let me have the table." Or Mike, "I've let you have all the cars you've wanted, can I at least have my pottery barn table?"
i think i've convinced him to just get the table for now and the chairs later ;P
