A few quick tid bits about Mads is that:
1. She rolls over from back to front but not vice versa (for the last three weeks, Michael was the one who spotted her)
2. She laughs (Jan 4)
3. She can lay on her tummy and get up real high (looks like a turtle poking her head out of its shell)
4. Can scream like none other
5. And just does it... for FUN! AHHHH!
6. She talks a lot and coos and stuff
7. Was 13lbs at her 4 month check up (75% for height and 30% for weight)
8. Enjoys her new sitter (the old one and the new one split the week) and sleeps wonderfully (she's never done that before for anyone but me)
9. I love watching Madison interact with James. It's so precious.
Not to leave James out but he is definitely a rough and tumble kind of guy. We are trying to overcome his ear infection he has had since the end of December (he has been immune to everything they give him). Is getting the final set of 2yr old molars - it's kind of early but he did get his first tooth at 3 months - poor guy. I believe Madison is showing signs of teething. James loves his little sister. He mostly climbs on top of her and kisses her to death and is learning to be more gentle with her (thank goodness!).
I still struggle sometimes with the long list of "to do's" and the daily grind. But the older Madison gets the easier it is. Since we just started the running club it seems like my evenings turn into a blur. So I have to be better prepared at planning my meals for the week, which I totally suck at right now. Tonight was the first time in a long time that we ate a boxed dinner. Rice-a-roni. Yuck. Cheesy rice and I threw some ham in there. Not the most appetizing or pleasing to the palette but James ate it and that's all I can really hope to accomplish these days.

have you ever thought about doing naturopathic care with him for the ear infection? My sister is now located in Tempe by ASU, if you ever want to give it a shot. She's treated my kids for ear infections before and it's worked great! :D
Madison is such a cutie!!! I love her dress :D
Every time I see Madison she just seems to get cuter & cuter all the time! Sorry about James' ear infection. It's the pits when your kids are sick! Hope he gets better soon.
