Confessions of a Broken Blog :(

Dear Blog,
I am so sorry for not updated you on a regular basis. It's not that I don't care or that I don't love you, it's just that my life feels like it's in a little bit of a dust devil. You see, I'm kind of caught up in the day-to-day. I can't really pin point one thing but the last thing I want to do when I get home is come up with an interesting post that's witty and reads well. I'm more of a scattered thought type of person and I usually end up editing my posts 5 or 6 times. Editing. Re-editing. And more editing. Until I think it's ok to publish.
I have some confessions to make too. By confessing to you blog, I hope I can get over these little hurdles called life.
#1 - I've been a bad mom. So terrible I don't think I want any more kids.
#2 - I'm stressing myself out with work, making me do #1.
#3 - I don't cook in the summer and this summer has been lingering.
#4 - I'm shoving anything I can find in the freezer down everyone's throat and they aren't buying it. (Spoiling your fam' with fresh meals makes premade stuff takes like doo-doo.)
#5 - I quit working out. I feel like a blob. And I'm becoming a couch potato. Which is 5a, b, and c.
#6 - I never posted Madison's 11 month pix or our Yosemite Family Reunion. Or lots of other posts I started.
#7 - In the last two weeks, Madison has almost been flushed down the toilet, Mike stung by a scorpion, my brother in a fender bender, and my Pops in the hospital. I don't think I can take another family emergency.
Sparing you from my bleeding heart, blog, I promise to post more, go to the gym, and eat better.
Sincerely yours,
Exhausted Mama

And p.s. I will try to lay off the chocolate. But no promises.

Love your honesty here. I'm craving relaxation - easy going - no worries - good weather times. Sounds like you're craving that too.

Now, let's get out our planners and pencil it in. Where shall we begin? - the timing, activity & everything have to be just perfect, so let's get started. No less than 50 people. Big home cooked dinner ...

... sarcastic mood I guess.
