I was actually embarrassed to haul her around. Isn't that just the worst thing a mother could say? She looks like a crack addict who's pimp beat her around a little. It was horrible! The day after she fell out her crib and broke her arm she fell into the corner of a toy and got a black eye. It bruised instantly. After a few weeks with the cast she finally learned to put it out first. Towards the end she would pound the table, wall, door and even people with it. But after 4 weeks it's finally off!
And she acted like it was no big deal.
It was the cutest, sadest, little cast I ever saw. We called it her "pretty" because of the glitter and she referred to it often as "my pretty, my pretty." So cute.
Michael took the cast off Sunday. She sat in his lap and layed there like a good girl while he took some nippers and nipped away. We figured it was torture enough and decided to spare her one more day - the cast off day was the next day. Once it was off she didn't even seem like it bothered her in the first place. But I did notice she kept looking at her thumb and moved it a lot.
I'm hoping her track record is one accident per year, so we've met our quota for 2011. I'm crossing my fingers and hope that's a true statement!

Poor little Madison. She's one tough cookie to have survived all of this.
Poor girl!! Iam glad she is doing better. Congrats on the baby...I know how that is Iam 13 weeks and seem to feel like Iam showing way sooner than last time!!
she does look like a little crack addict!
That poor girl has the worst luck. I hope her quota is up too --Josie
