I love this little girl. You are probably tired of hearing me dote on her, but she really is the best. She’s growing up like crazy. Actually I can’t believe it’s nearly mid August. She is learning how to walk and can do 2-3 steps on her own. It is hilarious watching her get up the momentum and just go for it. If I hold he lightly by the elbows she will just cruise around for days. She’s working on the balance thing. Madison is pretty tough when it comes to James pulling his WWE moves on her but if you yell at her, she’s all girl. Cries if you look at her wrong. But she’s sweet on the inside and out – not really sure where she gets that from!

Latest and greatest
Says hi. Eats like a champ. Loves frozen blueberries. Has progressed to meatballs! Yay, we are almost done with the baby food! Loves to eat anything she can pick up with her hands. Is down to nursing only every other day. WOOHOO! At almost 10 months she had her 9 month check up and was a measley 16 lbs, putting her below 5th percentile for weight. But she’s 75% for height and average for head circumference. She is a light weight, I was just thinking of that when I pick her up and her legs go spread eagle on me. I can’t believe how flexible she is. Madison can do the splits when she’s just sitting on my lap. It’s crazy! Or course she loves to dance, like her brother James.

Funny story
We dropped the kids off with my dad so we could hike Havasupai, Grand Canyon. I gave him a list of things the kids would eat and a bag of snacks/food for them. I just found the peach to go cups on sale and bought some because everyone loves them (Michael included) and I never buy them because they are pricey. So it’s a delicacy. Anyway my dad ran out – so he decided to feed Madison fruit cocktail instead. And he said she picked up all the fruit and ate it except when she would stumble upon a pear she would hand it back to him. Oh Madison P. You are too cute. I love her little hands and just envisioned her handing him the fruit she didn’t like. Genetics are a funny thing because my dad doesn’t like the pear either

My sweet baby girl will be a year old soon. I was ready for James to grow up, but I want my Madison to stay a baby forever!
