Another Tag! C’mon, you love it.
HOW DID WE MEET?: At a singles ward joint activity – Bartlett Lake. Mike ended up in my canoe and later hitched a ride home with my roommates and I. We’ve been together ever since.
WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR FIRST DATE?: A wedding reception (Mike’s friend) then to a Sushi Bar. The reception was kind of awkward for us both – but I guess that’s when I found out I was his girlfriend.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER?: 4 years, 3 months. Married for 3 years, 10 months. You do the math.
WHO SAID 'I LOVE YOU' FIRST?: I know I didn’t. So he must have said it first.
WHO IS TALLER?: Michael.
WHO SINGS BETTER?: Definitely, Michael. He has a great voice. I think I am tone deaf.
WHO DOES THE LAUNDRY?: I do, because Michael used to shrink my clothes. He was fired.
WHO DOES THE DISHES?: Both of us load the dish washer. I wash the bottles.
WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED?: I do.
WHO PAYS THE BILLS?: Both of us. He pays for the mortgage and car insurance and I pay for everything else. It just ended up working out well that way.
WHO MOWS THE LAWN?: Michael. It’s a trade off for laundry and cleaning. He mows the lawn and takes out the trash.
WHO COOKS DINNER?: I do, M-Thurs and Friday is Michael’s day to plan dinner. (Usually entails eating out)
WHO DRIVES WHEN YOU ARE TOGETHER?: Whoever can sucker the other one first.
WHO IS MORE STUBBORN?: We both know he is, although I can be stubborn sometimes too.
WHO KISSED WHO FIRST?: He did but only because he's not good at playing his own game. He was a teaser!
WHO IS MORE SENSITIVE?: Michael has a sensitive spirit. He can’t watch scary movies like The Ring or The Grudge, it freaks him out. Emotionally, I am probably more sensitive but just a hair. But I’m pretty much un-emotional so I don’t know if that means anything.
WHO PROPOSED?: Michael did, after he told me he was going to marry me. He slipped the ring on my finger when I was asleep and left a rose for every day we had known each other. I woke up and didn't realize I was engaged until I was in the bathroom washing my hands.
WHO HAS MORE SIBLINGS?: I do. One sister, three brothers. Michael has two sisters (one in heaven), and one brother.
WHO WEARS THE PANTS?: We both wear shorts.

the engagement one is so sweet. I've never heard of that method before - I'm impressed with Mike.
I agree with Jana on the engagement. You must be a pretty deep sleeper for him to have pulled that one off.
Yeah, he is sneaky. You gotta watch out. And my fingers swell at night, so imagine his freak out moment when the ring wouldn't go on. . .
Ha ha, how cute! I liked the part about when you "discovered" when you were his girlfriend!
Loved reading all this about you and Michael. I always think it's fun to know how people met, got engaged, and all that good stuff!
By the way, am I the Erin that is tagged? I used to be the only Erin around, but now there are tons. :)
