Uhm.
The kitchen is back together. I don't want to post pix yet until it's done... and that might be awhile. We still have to figure out what to do for the hood, are going back and forth about removing the drop down ceiling --- it would be soooo nice, but soooo messy. There is the HVAC duct that would have to be relocated so that has us weary. If you know of anyone who does that stuff let me know. I would be interested in how much it would cost. I was really hoping that we could landscape the backyard this spring but that is not going to happen. Thanks a lot crappy economy. Michael doesn't want to spend that kind of money and he's right, with things being uncertain. At least it will give me more time to plan and pick out the trees/shrubs/etc. I think by the time we do get around to landscaping it will be nice because then I'll have every last detail worked out.

Smarty Pig savings - the interest rate is really good, and I love the concept! 3.25% and it's automatically taken out of your bank account and stashed away. It's like a virtual piggy bank but the best part is that it accrues interest AND anyone (family, friends, relatives) can contribute to your fund.
Jessie Steele - love these aprons. So sexy, it's a sin. This one I'm drooling over.

I could totally see you in that cute apron in your new kitchen! So, when you post pictures of the kitchen, you should be in it with a cute apron on. You would look like such a modern homemaker! :)
