What can I say? I've been busy.
Yells and squeals back when you scold him or try to get him to do something. James makes fists with his tiny little hands, arms completely straight, body tense, shaking.... as he is yelling of course. He throws temper tantrums, flails his arms and legs, stomps his feet, throws stuff. That's our James. We didn't expect anything less.
We frequent the park in our afternoon walks around the lake because I mangled my ankle bad enough I can't run on it. See the dr. in a couple of weeks. I'm really bummed about it. It hurts when I'm doing nothing.

So here we are.
Just trying to balance everything. Work, home, kid, etc.etc. Some days it's manageable. Other days, a train wreck. But we're dealing.
I didn't know life with a toddler was so difficult.
Independence is a pain. James likes to wear his shoes, well any shoes for that matter.
And loves to eat like a big boy with a spoon and fork. It's actually not that bad. I've seen worse.
Still, it's a pain to clean up. Usually we just hose him down.
This was his first attempt with yogurt.

And here is a little snippet of what you all have been asking for. It's not done yet so I don't want to give too much of it away because it still looks unfinished. It's coming along slowly.
Don't worry, you'll have a view of the before and after when we wrap things up. I just started painting over the weekend and have a few touch ups here and there.
We painted the cabinets black and still are flip-flopping on hardware.
So stay tuned, I'm getting more and more excited. It really does look different, and so much brighter too. I was getting bored with the blue. BLAH.

The grand finale. I've been making nursing covers and have actually sold three of them. These aren't your normal covers ladies.
I take time into making them unique and interesting. This was the latest for a friend of mine who had a little girl.
I thought the tuxedo bow was a cool twist. Classy, subtle, no fuss. The fabric - super light weight and perfect for Arizona summer.
For those interested, I am selling my covers now. Send me an email if you are interested.
