Lizards & One Mr. Crabby Pants

Michael found this little guy in the family room. I couldn't get a good picture because he was moving around too much and Michael was annoyed that I couldn't get my focus right. But you can see how little he is. After he and James played with him for a little bit they roasted him on the grill. Just kidding. We didn't roast him, we just chopped off his tail for good luck. Just kidding, Michael just let him loose outside. Really.
This is my precious little baby-kins. Yes, he's been crabby all week; his jammies suit him. Yesterday he learned two new words, "thank you" and "got-chu" (got you). And today he was spouting off words right and left I can't even remember what he was saying.

And a bit of useless information- since I look at the weather forecast vs. retail electric load all day... did you know that the coolest part of the day is actually at 6am?? It stays hot all night long until the morning hours. Kind of interesting huh? And I probably don't have to tell you the hottest part of the day is typically 5pm.

ahhh. sweet little crabby-kins.

we had that same gecko in our house. the kids played with it till it died, rotted, stank up the joint, and we found it all mangled up reeking. good times.

that's interesting about the heat. our electric bill was $300 today! get that fixed for me, thanks.
