From the archives...

CORRECTION: Nov, 2004 Dec 30, 2004

I was going through my old pictures since we just had our 5th year anniversary and all... and I stumbled across the one above. We took this picture at the Oakland temple during Thanksgiving. Michael's parents were sealed and his brother had just come home from his mission in Montana. It was the first time I went to California and stayed at his parents house in Petaluma. We were "officially engaged" (meaning I actually had the ring). Kind of funny if you think about it because I believe we set the temple date like a month before I actually got my ring.

Haha! I just remembered that my MIL threw a bridal shower for me then. I had NO clothes (like nice onces ... like basically all the clothes I wear now). I think I had like a raggy pair of jeans and some crappy button shirt or something and I just remember my MIL looking at me and said, "you're going to wear that?" And I was like.... uhm, yeah... and she was like loser. Just kidding, she didn't say loser, she just took me shopping and bought me that black shirt, which basically meant loser! Hmm, wait a minute. I think that was probably a Lisa reject. (My SIL). See, my MIL would shop for her all the time and the stuff she didn't like it would get passed through me before it got sent back to be returned. I actually really liked that shirt. I have no idea what happened to it... meh :(

Anyway, I know you're all probably waiting for a wedding pix.... sorry. I don't feel in the mood to show off my tiara wearing self. Maybe if we make it to 10 years, (me & blog, not me & my spouse - really you guys, have more faith in me) I'll treat you to it. Otherwise just come to my house and you'll see it on the mantle.
