Nobody likes a boring old update

*Tap tap on the microphone*

Anyone still out there?

I've got several updates.

1, Facebook is easier than blogging
2. I don't have time and no one seems to care. Although, I know I will miss it when I look back and find my life is a big goose egg of posts. In the thick of it, I slack and skip posting because I'm too in the moment.
3. More pictures, more pictures! Everyone screams. I'm so bad with taking out the camera, transferring it to the computer, printing them out, etc.
4. It's Halloween time and I'm using every last second to make costumes

First things first. Madison's birthday ice cream cake on her birthday, October 12. It fell on a Wednesday. We celebrated with family and Jana, who is practically family. Madison always begs to call or visit Jana and Damian.

 A birthday isn't a birthday w/o a Baskin Robbins cake.

It's amazing what photoshop can do. James was being awful and clawed up her face earlier in the week. The bandaid was slapped over a mountain of neosporin.

My gift to Madison; a princess party and a birthday pettiskirt outfit. I love etsy!

The crown was lent by my sister.

She was extremely spoiled and got some really great gifts!

I'm so glad my sister took off with my camera because I was a little stressed out that week w/planning the party and work and no sleep

 I love this shot.

Madison's party birthday cake by her Aunt Lisa. It was so cute!

The princess blew out the candles like she knew what she was doing a million times over

I had this great idea to play "Pin the Kiss on the Frog Prince"
I think it was a hit. I sketched the frog and made it out of felt.
The kisses were hand stitched and stuffed with batting. Then I hot glued diaper
velcro to the back for added adhesion to the frog.

A Hello Kitty backpack from her grandma. She had her eye on this for several weeks
at Target. She loves that things and carries it everywhere.

With Halloween just around the corner, I made my SIL, Lisa's Dorothy costume.
I think it came out cute. She got to wear it to work today.

I'm thinking I have Jack's costume all figured out.

I hope it's not too overwhelming. We also completed the remodel of the man room into two rooms, one room for Madison and a small man room (literally, one man!)/office. I'll have to post that separate.
It's amazing that the holidays are creeping up on me already. I can't wait for this weekend. Friday is the Park Halloween Party, Sat a party at a Co-workers, and of course Monday's Trunk or Treat Church Party. Like last year, the kids will probably have two costumes this year. Halloween is exhausting. What happened to just celebrating the day of? It's like it lasts forever these days. I already starting giving these kids candy two weeks ago!
