No time

I've been really busy.

And it seems like I work weekends a lot. Even though tomorrow will only be my 2nd Sat working. I'll be in a helicopter all day inspecting transmission lines.

Uhm. Real quick.

I have been trying to be really good about cooking dinner... and not just ok dinners, but yummy time consuming dinners that are fabulously delicious. It's exhausting me. That and trying to keep the house clean. After we fired the house cleaner I find I'm trying extra hard to keep things up and it's wearing me out.

I feel like an old rag. Falling apart, weathered, clumpy old rag.

Oh yeah, and James is 16months. I pretended to be a good mom and took a 1/2 day off work to take him to the zoo. We didn't stay very long. He was asleep when we got there so I walked around for an hour. Then James woke up and seemed disinterested (is that word?). He was more interested in pushing the stroller. He did learn something new today though. We went to see the Mexican Wolf and I said, "Owwwww, owwww, OWWWWWW." And James howled with me. Then I gobbled him up because he was so cute. And hobbled home on my good ankle.
