Unrealistic Dropped Dinner

Let me just say for the record there are three adults and a toddler plus a fetus that I'm trying to feed on $100. Impossible. Just like I told you before. After a week, it's clear to see that. I mean, yeah probably $100 if all you ate was beans, rice, and spaghetti.... little meat. No fresh fruit/veggies. So here's my list:

It's nothing fancy - well except for the tri tip that was fabulous! It fed the three of us, two different meals plus leftovers. So let's assume 9 meals, that comes to less than $2 per meal for the meat. Still... not bad.
Last week was probably the worst in me preparing meals. I was just really burnt out and exhausted. So Michael did a lot of the cooking. I basically can't eat after 5pm or I wake up with death heartburn in the wee hours of the morning. It's been the worst. Steak, sandwiches, PB&J, hamburger soup, and nachos were last week. Tonight I was able to muster up some energy to do a quick sweet n sour chicken. Super easy. Cubed the chicken, cut up some green pepper, carrots, seasoned with onion powder. Cooked the chicken in a little bit of oil, added veggies, poured on the sauce - the mauii harbor stuff. Seriously, it's the best SNS sauce and it comes from a bottle. Pour that on, boil, simmer, add pinneapple. Serve over rice.
Tomorrow is lemon chicken kabobs, basmati rice, and I'm going to do a mediterrenean salad since I need to use the lettuce soon. Add a little homemade hummus action with cucumber and pitas, and it's soooo good.
And I'm already getting tired of blabbing about my boring budget/meals. I did make another trip to Costco over the weekend to get snacks for James and dropped another $100 or so. Sorry, the reciept dissapeared. James probably ate it. Plus I forgot we got a pizza at Costco too, add $10. And a few trips to Sonic. Add $10. So I say starting week two we are already at $220 or so. I'll probably have to make another run to the store mid week to get some fruit. I can't enough of the stuff. Especially apples. The peaches were good. I wish I bought more of them. I'm trying to search the ads better to get the best deals on the produce.
Completely random but I think I'm starting to "drop". Friday I've been having the worst pain ever and when I came to work today my co-worker said, "wow, you dropped!" I'm just trying to get through one day at a time. Next week will be 36 weeks and that's my mental marker. If I can just make it to 36 weeks, then I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Just to throw some icing on top of the cake, James has been a real pain. He's teething again. Oh boy. He just poured some water out of a water bottle on the carpet and is stepping in it then running onto the wood floor because he slips all over the place. Since when was he able to drink from a bottle (cup) all by himself? Seriously. This kid is growing up so fast.

I'm impressed you even made the goal of $100/mo. I used to do that when it was just me, and you probably remember what I lived on...

You're almost there, she'll be out before you know it.
