Michael's parents came for a quick weekend visit two weeks ago. His birthday was May 23 so we spent the weekend celebrating his and my birthday (June 6).
My MIL lighting a LOT of birthday candles. The chocolate cake was made by my SIL - it was soooo good and we got Mike's fave ice cream cake at Baskin Robbins.
Madison was super excited to see the candles.
The family shot. Madison trying to attack the candles, Me not looking at the camera, and Mike blocking his dad. It was a great shot.
James helping me blow out candles.
Madison half spit, half blew out the candles.
***Advice: don't teach your kids to spit toothpaste until they are 8 yrs old***
James was saying "Birthday... Cake" all weekend.
Madison going for the chocolate.
Last weekend we had a big party with our friends. We rented this huge waterslide/bouncer combo. The entrance to the waterslide was through the bouncer. The kids looked like they were having so much fun. The weather was nice and hot. I think it may have reached triple digits.
Jana was one thrilled guest.
The birthday kids.
How could you NOT want to go down this slide? It was AWESOME!
The sno-cones were a hit also.
It was a great way to spend celebrate my 30th birthday and Mike's 32nd birthday. I was glad to see some old friends and watch the kids enjoy themselves.
After all this celebrating I'm all birthdayed out and I've got one more day to celebrate - on my actual birthday day!
Thanks everyone for coming to hang out with us!

That water slide looks so fun! I'm sad I missed it!
You and Mike really do know how to throw a fun party. The water slide looked so fun.
that picture of me is so me. I'm always pictured folded up over myself looking awkward. haha. Despite my body language, I loved the party and had fun.
