I think he's smart

I've been getting little clues here and there that James is smarter than I think he is.

Example 1:
Bj was playing DDR and was telling me how James liked to stomp around on the mat too. So last night he was playing again to show me how cute James was. Well he was kind of getting in the way, so I pulled out the 2nd DDR mat and let him jump around on it. He is so precious. I didn't plug it in to the playstation because. Well just because. Then I started wondering if James would know it wasn't plugged in. After a few minutes of jumping around James looked at Bj's mat then at his and grabbed the end of his DDR mat cord and went to the playstation and tried plugging it in. Well he couldn't get it in so he started pulling out Bj's cord. Then he saw the 2nd slot and tried to put it in. I helped him plug it in, then he ran back to the mat and started jumping around again. He'd jump up and down, stomp, run around in circles. Too freaking cute.

Example 2:
Bought him a potty. Brought it home yesterday. Put it in the bathroom. Grabbed him and told him it was to go pee pee. Sat him on it. Then he would get on and off. On and off. First it he backed it up and then put him bum on it. Next he put one leg on and then with his hands on the ground and his head looking underneath his tooth, he whipped his other leg over to get on the potty. Then he got up and started pulling his shorts down. Not thinking he was actually going to know how to use it. I didn't even bother trying to take off his diaper to test it out. Well after he pulled at his shorts, I smelled pee about 2 seconds later! Too bad I wasn't quick enough. So just to show him I took his diaper off and set him on the potty and said "sssssssss" and "pee pee". Then he pointed his you-know-what down and said "ssssss" and looked into the potty to see if anything was coming out. Too cute.

Example 3:
We went swimming Thurs. I brought him into our bedroom so I could get my swimsuit on and put him on the bed. When he saw my bare tummy I heard him say "baby". Half in disbelief what I heard I walked over the bed with my exposed belly and said "what did you say"? And he pointed at my belly and said "baby!"

Well there he is, I can hear him in his crib. He's saying "mama." Guess it's time to wake up!

Unbelieveable! They grow up so fast! Doesn't seem like he's big enough to do all that yet! Such a smarty!
