I've been begging Michael to take pictures of me this time while I'm pregnant. But I get nothing. So I took this one of myself when I was about 5 months. It's way blurry, but I was still able to salvage it. I really liked how the light was hitting my stomach and the highlights in my hair. I thought it was a pretty cool concept - I opened all the blinds and faced toward the window. Too bad it was out of focus. What else do you want to know? I guess I could rant on how annoying it is to have to buy work type maternity clothes and normal casual clothes. But I will spare you, because then I will complain how much $ it costs and I'm tired of complaining about $.
I'm just glad that there are so many cute maternity clothes out there. I remember my mom had to make her own clothes - she would always find these huge colorful tropical prints and make a button-down type shirt dress out of them. That's all she wore her entire pregnancy. Dresses. I also remember her feet would get so swollen. For some reason I think my feet/ankles are swelling sooner and more extreme than with James. BUT, I have not yet had to wake up in the middle of night to go to the bathroom, thank goodness!
Enough about me, tell me what you want about your pregnancy. I especially really like to hear how uncomfortable it is for everyone too. It makes me feel like less of a complainer.

Here's the thing with maternity clothes that I think is so annoying: With your first kid, you buy the clothes, because you have none. Then you are pregnant again. Your previous maternity clothes are ugly, (what were you thinking when you bought them?) except you don't really want to spend all that money on clothes you'll wear for 3-5 months. I totally hear you. When I was pregnant with Grace I was working, and had lots of "working" type maternity clothes. I'd let you have them, except you're smaller than I was:) (And, they're ugly, remember?)
Or you buy stuff on super clearance thinking, oh for this price, I'll wear it. Only to find out the fit is all wrong and it's even uglier when it's on you.
I think if I had to do it again, I'd be a skirt wearing girl. it makes the most sense. those under the belly panels just fall off you, you're always hiking them up.
You look RADIANT! What a cool picture. Good job taking pics, after 3 babies I think I have a total of 3 pregnant pictures. Maybe next time. If there is a next time.
See the great thing about being SICK the WHOLE time is that I never go anywhere... and if I did it was to take Thomas to the Splash park or pool (no clothes needed for that :) ) I don't even where make-up for nine months! but Damond would tell you that I would have a meltdown each time I had to get ready for church! so I finally gave in and bought myself a really cute dress at Target that was so comfortable, I bought another one!
Dresses are the way to go... no waistbands!
*wear--- sorry, I really do know how to spell :D
FAB-ulous picture. Wow. Is it annoying for me to say that if you look that great at 5 months, you shouldn't have anything to complain about? Okay, I know it's annoying, but WOW. Good for you. I gained 50 lbs with Ben. That was uncomfortable. I couldn't fit into ANYTHING. It was hot. And working made it SO MUCH WORSE. Sitting on my fat butt all day, just getting fatter. I don't want to think about it. You aren't a complainer - seriously - you're good.
I really like this picture too! The shirt is gorgeous!
You look so cute! I love the shirt.
Sara - tell me about it. I gained 55+ with James. I was a whale. But that's what happens when all you crave is hamburgers, french fried, ice cream, and no exercise.
Now I crave crunchy and crispy - which can't be found much in fast food. Mostly fruits and veggies. And lots of exercise thanks to James.
Kind of funny how eating right and exercise keeps you slim and trim. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?!? ShOcKiNg, IsN't It?
