First boo-boo

James had his first boo-boo today. I was getting ready to leave for work and plopped him on the bed with Michael (who is still sleeping when I leave.... I know so not fair), when I heard a death cry on my way out the door. Of course I rush back into the bedroom and Mike said James had taken the leap of death off the bed, hiting his eye on the bedrail as he hit the floor. He landed on his back. Needless to say I was late to work because I had to console him and scold his neglectful, lazy, cant-even-watch-his-kid-for-a-minute father.
Anyway he wanted me to blog about it. So there. Sorry no picture, that kid doesn't stay still.

Yeah, Taya wanted me to blog about that whole drinking body oil thing where she turned blue and stuff, but I said 'No Taya. I KNOW somebody will call CPS on me'

Shoot. Is somebody going to call CPS on me?

Poor James ... hitting the bed rail/knobby thingy on the way down? On his eye? Sounds painful. ... Oh and I have a question, does Mike running him into the metal baseball stadium chairs to try and catch a foul ball not count as a first boo boo?

Ouch. That sounds totally painful - funny how we wouldn't dream of leaving the consoling to the men. I alway know when Ben has fallen and it's Joel's fault because Ben is crying and Joel is laughing.

Breanne - I checked everywhere on his head after the game to see where the bruise would pop up, nothing. So I think Mike was right, he got scared not hurt.
