So who wants to hear about Jana being thrown under the bus?
*Looking for hands*
Mmhmm! *lips persed tight*
That's what I thought....
So yesterday evening we thought we had dropped by the Acereto's house to see what was going down. And basically Mike wanted to hang w/Art and I wanted to talk to Jana about babysitting, which I completely forgot to talk about our terms and conditions.
But we'd been hanging out for a little bit and chit-chatting about this and that.
The phone rings... *ring, ring*
Prompt Jana: Runs to get the phone since the kiddo's were in bed "sleeping."
Jana Disappears.
5 mins go by.
6 mins go by.
Prompt Art: "JANA, WHERE ARE YOU?" Turns to Mike and I, "She's on the computer that woman."
Bianca laughs (she never takes things seriously and always thinks people are joking when they are serious because sometimes the things people say are sooooo outrageous, it's unbelievable, like Jana would even blog when we were over there. Outrageous!).
Art (saying just loud enough so we could only hear): "Woman, get off the computer. She can't stop blogging." Then yells, "JANA!" *in that childlike your-in-big-trouble tone*
Jana appears (winded), "WHAT?" *in an I-didn't-do-it tone*
Art (scolding): "Jana, it's so rude to be blogging when people are over."
Jana (very Dana-like -- because she is the "evil" one according to Talia): "I wasn't!!!!"
Then Art went on how it's rude to blog and yada-yada-yada when company is over.
Jana then retorted, "That was Julie who called and said I had to look at her post about the beetle because she put a picture of it up on her blog. And I had to post a comment."
OH.... how the truth floweth then....
I was flabbergasted.
How could she? No. How dare she?
I thought there was an unwritten rule about blogging. Like, "thou shalt not blog when your friends come over to hang out."
Maybe we need to make some rules. I want to know what you guys think.
(p.s. Jana what do you have to say for yourself?)

It's 1/2 true, but I wasn't blogging I was just checking on something a friend asked me too. I was 'being a good friend'. And if that's wrong then I don't wanna be right.
PLUS you guys also told me that is was bad manners that I sat and sewed buttons on a dress in front of you. So let's steer the post in a new direction...
Is it wrong to sew buttons on a dress in front of guests?
I didn't think the sewing was bad manners but to turn the direction again.
Is "posting" a comment the same as "blogging"?
I just love " " don't "you"?
"Sewing" buttons? No, not "rude".
"Blogging"? Questionable.
However, it was a "pop-in"? What if Jana had very "important" blogging "plans" that evening?
Still, somewhat "questionable". ;)
But then again, so is the "pop-in".
(Had to finish it right - I really hit 'publish' too soon don't I?)
Jana, Jana, Jana. I can't believe you got caught. If it was a true "comment" and not "blogging" (love the "") you shouldn't have gotten caught.
Bianca, under normal circumstances I would agree with you but seeing how Jana was reading MY blog at MY request...I have to side with her...not only that but I posted a pic of the beetle!! C'mon, you know you would have ran to look at it too (after the story I told you).
Haha thats funny! Love the nursing cover you made!
